Partner Agencies

Our partner agencies are part of our Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT). This team is the foundation of effective Child Advocacy Centers around the country. MDT’s are comprised of groups of professions from different disciplines that collaborate throughout the involvement of a child and families time at the CAC. Together, we coordinate an intervention that reduces potential trauma and improves overall services provided.

MDT’s coordinate efficient inter-agency communication and information sharing. By sharing information with other agencies connected through the CAC, it helps to improve the timeliness and quality of gathered evidence. Prosecutor involvement from the beginning of the case contributes to more successful court results.

Our Children’s Advocacy Center is centered around the child. This reduces anxiety and requires fewer interviews during an investigation. The MDT approach identifies service and education requirements for the child and family and parents/caregivers can feel empowered to protect their child throughout the process.
